We proudly play a role in helping high school athletic directors and coaches achieve their goal of developing well-rounded student athletes and promoting their teams. The less time an athletic director has to spend disseminating information, raising funds, and making a web presence a school can be proud of, the more time an athletic administrator has to spend with coaches and students. We developed a product to help make this happen.
We want our websites to belong to the school and be a part of the community. A school should not have to give up their brand and a lot of control in order to have a great website. We believe the school’s brand should be in front of our own, and we believe a school’s calendar data should go where the school wants it to go.

The BigTeams concept began at SiteWhirks, a web and software development company in Warrenton, Virginia. As athletes in high school the founders of SiteWhirks donated an athletics website to Fauquier High School in 2001 as a way to give something back. As other Athletic Administrators came across the website and heard the local buzz, they wanted a site of their own. Since that time, a new company was born called BigTeams, LLC. Countless hours of research along with suggestions taken from a group of Athletic Directors, Booster Club members, media providers, and the general public have turned our system into more than just a website: It is a dynamic, self-manageable system built for High School Athletic Departments to foster communication, provide the department with an informational tool for everyone to use, and help promote school athletics through the use of the web.
Athletic Director Input: BigTeams makes a point of listening to athletic directors. Their feedback has enabled us to provide AD's with the functionality that helps make their working life easier on a daily basis.
Coaches, Booster Club, and Assistant Coach Input: Team notes, enhanced rosters, and archived seasons are but a few of the contributions that have come from our coaches, boosters, and assistant coaches.
Hardware & Technology: BigTeams has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into programming, development, software, and servers to make BigTeams the cutting edge high school team website that it is. We continue to pour resources into research and development as we look towards the future.
Traffic: Several Hundred Thousand Visitors bring millions of visits to our websites each month, and that number is growing rapidly. The positive feedback from the athletic directors, coaches and players continues to be overwhelming.
